Deerdra McCloud founded the Tyler Chapter Winners Circle as a safe space for encouragement, growth, and positive change. As facilitator and activities coordinator, she leads with compassion, organizing meaningful programs and peer-driven activities that inspire members to live drug-free, crime-free lives while building a supportive community.
As Executive Director and Co-founding Mangement Member, Eric Broughton provides steady leadership and vision for the Winners Circle Peer Support Network. He is dedicated to guiding the organization’s mission of empowerment, helping members embrace accountability, recovery, and positive community engagement.
As Co-Executive Director and Co-founding Management Member, Tony Meeks helps steer the Winners Circle Peer Support Network with commitment and care. He works alongside leadership team and peers to strengthen reentry, recovery, and community support, ensuring every member has a pathway to lasting change. Tony also plays a key role in helping with leading the Tyler Chapter’s prison ministry visits and organization development fundraising support activities that sustain and expand the network’s mission.
As Secretary, Ruth Wilson supports the Winners Circle Peer Support Network with organization and dedication. She helps maintain clear communication and accurate records, ensuring the network’s mission of peer-led support and positive community impact stays on track.
As part of the administration support team, Laura Newsome helps keep the Winners Circle Peer Support Network running smoothly. Her behind-the-scenes dedication ensures that members and leaders have the structure, organization, and resources they need to thrive.
As Peer Support Counselor, Will Whittenberger walks alongside members on their journey of recovery and reentry. With understanding and encouragement, he provides guidance, listening, and hope—helping peers build confidence and embrace healthier, crime-free lives.
As part of Team Support, Jerry Griffin brings encouragement and reliability to the Winners Circle Peer Support Network. He plays a vital role in strengthening the group’s sense of community, offering steady support that helps peers stay motivated and connected.
As a Team Support member, Ella Walker contributes warmth and encouragement to the Winners Circle Peer Support Network. She helps foster a welcoming environment where peers feel supported, valued, and motivated to continue their journey of positive change.
Tanger Pennyman supports the Winners Circle Peer Support Network by coordinating activities and serving as Secretary for the Ladies Group Meetings. With care and dedication, she helps create safe, engaging spaces where women can share, heal, and grow together in strength and support.
Arveldia Ware provides vital administrative, IT, and social media support for the Winners Circle Peer Support Network. She also assists in coordinating and managing community upliftment and restoration events, including technology training programs such as Computer and Mobile Device 101 (Basic and Intermediate). LIVE & KICKING WINNERS CIRCLE was founded in 1995 by a group of community members who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to helping homeless individuals. Since then, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit, serving hundreds of individuals each year.

The Winners Circle is a community-based peer support group focused on helping individuals transition successfully after incarceration or addiction. We provide a judgment-free space for healing, mentoring, accountability, and hope.
Anyone in recovery from drug or alcohol addiction, or transitioning out of the criminal justice system, is welcome — whether you’ve just been released, are on probation or parole, or seeking a new path forward.
No. All peer support services are offered free of charge. Our mission is to make healing, restoration, and reintegration accessible to everyone.
We offer weekly peer meetings, reentry mentoring, spiritual encouragement, access to community resources (housing, employment, clothing), and personal development programs. We also host events, meals, and outreach for children of the incarcerated.
The foundation of the Winners Circle is rooted in spiritual principles of restoration and accountability. However, people from all walks of life — regardless of faith background — are welcome and embraced.
Absolutely not. Many of our leaders and members have walked the same path. We are here to walk beside you, not to look down on you. This is a Circle, not a ladder.
We hold weekly peer support meetings and occasional special events, such as guest speakers, family dinners, and community service projects. You’ll never have to walk alone again.
Peer support offers connection with people who have lived experience — those who truly understand where you’ve been. It creates authentic relationships, shared accountability, and community-driven healing.
Yes. We encourage family inclusion and often provide meals, support for children of the incarcerated, and holiday programs to help restore families.

We love our visitors, supporters or anyone struggling with an addiction and you're just needing to be connected to support peer network. We welcome new visitors during sessions. Otherwise, contact us to schedule a time to meet by appointment.
